Installation :
--------------
To install LFS DEMO TEST, unzip the file into a suitable folder on your
hard drive.  You must ensure that the directory structure is preserved
by using the appropriate option in your unzip utility.  You will know
that it has been correctly unzipped if you see a data folder beside the
LFS.exe program and some more folders inside the data folder.

To run the demo :

Double-click the program file LFS.exe

Note : Microsoft DirectX 8.1 is required and can be downloaded from
www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/downloads/default.asp
DirectX is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation

Game controller information :
-----------------------------
Note : Multiple controllers and clutch / shifters not yet supported.

If you wish to use throttle and brake on separate axes :

1) Set your wheel to report throttle and brake on separate axes.
2) Start Live for Speed DEMO TEST and go into Options...Controls.
3) Click on the Throttle / Brake button to select separate axes.
4) Click on the Set up axes button to display the axis selection.
5) Select the appropriate axes and if necessary swap pedals.
   You may need to try all combinations of the 5 available axes
   until you find the correct settings for your wheel.
   You will know it is correct when the Set up axes button is green
   and your pedals have the right effect.
6) Finally you need to select the force type (one, two or three).
   To test the force type you must test drive your car in the game
   then return to the options screen until you have the right value.

This temporary system has been tested on the following wheels :

Logitech MOMO Force
Thrustmaster Ferrari Force Feedback
Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback
Logitech Wingman Formula Force (Serial)

The following separate axis settings were found to work correctly :

Formula Force :

The LWFF wheel may need to be set to single axis mode, and use force
type two, to avoid a continual force fulling to the left.

Switching to other applications :
---------------------------------
The ALT-TAB key press is not recommended during a multiplayer game
as after ALT-TAB the game is never called by the operating system
and cannot maintain its connections with the other computers.
Instead, please use the quick key SHIFT-F4 to temporarily run the
gane in a window.

SHIFT-F4  - switch to window
SHIFT-F9  - 640 x 480
SHIFT-F10 - 800 x 600
SHIFT-F11 - 1024 x 768
SHIFT-F12 - 1280 x 960
